About the Workplaces
Björkhyddan is a preschool with four units for children aged 1-6 years. Björkhyddan is located in the heart of scenic Sjövik. Östad School is a K-6 school with an associated after-school program located on the outskirts of Sjövik, near Östad Church, with forests and meadows as its closest neighbors. The Multilingual Unit is based in central Lerum and manages everything related to study guidance, mother tongue instruction, and our newly arrived students.
We who work at the preschool, school, and unit are around 60 people. All operations systematically work on their quality efforts, always focusing on the child and student, and linking current research to their areas of development. The goal of our operations is for our children and students to feel good, learn a lot, and leave our operations with good self-esteem, great agency, and many positive experiences. Our operations are based on a view of humanity that includes and accepts everyone.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Björkhyddan Preschool, Östad School, and the Multilingual Unit are now advertising for an administrator at 90-100%.
As an administrator, you will largely act as a spider in the web, administrating, supporting, facilitating, and enabling the work for staff and principals, as well as for children, students, and guardians. You will work within several different systems such as Heroma, Edlevo, School 24, and Proceedo. Through your work, you will ensure that all administrative tasks run smoothly in the operations, for example, ensuring that staff have the correct schedules and receive the correct salaries, that orders are placed and invoices are paid on time, that children and students can take the bus for an outing, or that guardians receive an interpreter for a meeting, that national tests for grades 3 and 6 are ordered, and that grades for grades 6 and 9 are correct and submitted on time. You will also handle substitute staffing through our central Staffing Pool, thereby contributing to ensuring that there is always staff present.

QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying have a high school education with an administrative focus or other education that the employer deems relevant. Alternatively, work experience that is considered equivalent.
You have experience in administrative work. You have good ICT skills and experience working in Microsoft Office as well as Heroma, Edlevo, School 24, Proceedo, and Unikum. You have a good ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Swedish.
It is an advantage if you have experience working with substitute staffing and a B driver's license.
You take great responsibility for your working hours and have a good ability to prioritize among tasks. You need to be meticulous but also flexible. You easily create and maintain good social relationships with those you meet. Last but not least, you need to be service-oriented and solution-focused. You may face some challenges, and you need to approach those tasks calmly with a mindset that there is always a solution.
